I think it is great to cook Fried Rice during the weekend as it take a while to make it. But, the consuming time work do worth it because you just can't believe how long it can last for. Therefore, I tend to cook it before my busy week so that I could enjoy an AWESOME meal during the hectic day without spending a lot of time in the kitchen. =D
This portion that I am going to tell you, had lasted 5 meals for me. Can't believe right?

This are what you will need:

Ingredients:
1/8 onion (sliced)
1 small chinese baby cabbage (chopped)
2 cups of steamed rice

4 eggs
5 cloves of garlics (minced)
7 tsp of oil
8 crab sticks (chopped)
12-16 large size prawns

Steps:
1. Add 2 tsp of oil into the pan and fried the onions and 1/2 portions of the garlics until fragrant. Then add prawns and crab sticks. Cook it until the prawn cooked and set aside.
2. Scrambled the eggs with 2 tsp of oil and set aside.
3. Add 1 tsp of oil into the pan and fried the remaining garlics till fragrant. Then, add in the cabbage and stir fried it until it is cooked. Then, set aside.
4. Add 2 tsp of oil into the pan and fried the steamed rice until it is a bit hard and dry.
5. Add all the cooked ingredients that are mentioned in steps 1,2,3 and stir everything well.
6. Serve it and Enjoy your meal!!

Tips:
1. It is always preferable to use overnight steamed rice as we know the texture is harder than those fresh cook steamed rice. However, if you don't have any overnight's you can put slightly less water to cook the rice, you might get the same result too.

Bak Kut Teh

Hi Everyone,
Today, I am going to teach you how to make the BAK KUT TEHHHHHHH

Bak Kut Teh is a dish from MALAYSIA..
It was the main dish for the Chinese rubber trees workers who had to stay in the forest during the night for their living..
As it was cold in the night, they need something to keep their body warm and energy to work.
They invented this awesome and food with the ingredients that they could find in the forest- Pigs and some ingredients from house- Chinese Herbs
And the mixture of both = Bak Kut Teh which means "meat- bone tea" from the Hokkien dialect
Then, its popularity has spread among the peninsula..
I have been craving for Bak Kut Teh for a long while..
But due to the big portions of meat that I might face for the next few days after I made it, I always cancel my mind on making it..
Finally, there is someone who is willing to share the portion with me.
Just follow the steps and you will make a good Bak Kut Teh like me =P

Ingredient:
IA
1 packet of A1 Bak Kut Teh (In a normal packet, there are 2)
2 lbs of pork ribs chunks
1 pork fumer bone (aka big pork bone)
3 clovers of garlics
1tbsp of dark soy sauce
2tbsp of light soy sauce
1tbsp of abalone sauce
600ml of water

IB
1 packet of Soy Puff (Aka Tofu Pok)
1 packet of mushroom

Steps:
1. Put IA into the cooking pot when the water is boiled and boil it with medium low heat for 1.5 hours or more.
2. Remove the oil from the soup when it is ready and boil the amount of IB that you desire.
3.  Serve with rice. =D

Happy Cooking!
Good Luck!!

Tip:
Serve with cabbage too if you want.

Note:
1. I am using pressure cooker to cook it that's why it taste better??o.o
2. I always remove the "dirt" water when the porks are first boiled in the pot for 5 mins before I put the seasoning sauce.

Sweet and Sour Pork 咕噜肉

Hi everyone,
Today I am going to teach you how to make Sweet and Sour Pork..
I remember my bro love it so much and it is always the must-order-dish when my family have dinner in the restaurant..
Well, I guess everyone loves it..haha..
We do have a lot in US but so far those aren't authentic..=(
I made it last week for my friend's Birthday since she has been craving for so long..=)

Ingredients:
200g pork
4tbs oil
2tbs tapioca flour

IB
1/2 size of green pepper
1/4 size of yellow onions
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 size of tomatoes

Marinating Sauce
1/2 tbs of light soy sauce
1 tbs of abalone/ oyster Sauce
1/2 tbs of sugar
1/2 tbs of Sesame Oil
1/2 tbsp of Tsao Xing Wine
1 tbsp of Water
Some pepper and salt

Sweet & Sour Sauce
4 tsp tomato sauce
4 tsp water
1tsp of sugar
1/2 of white vinegar

Steps:
1. Marinate pork with the marinating sauce of at least 1 hour.
2. Mixed tapioca flour with the marinated pork.
3. Add oil into the pan and fried the pork until it's brown.
4. Remove the pork from the pan and put in on top of some paper towel to remove the excess oil.
5. Use the leftover oil from the pan to fried IB (fried onion first, then the other three ingredients) until fragment.
6. Add pork and Sweet & Sour Sauce into the pan.
7. Mixed well everything.
8. Serve with white rice=)

Tips:
1. I used to marinate the night before I sleep, so that the meat will taste better and I can cook it when I am back from school. There is like a theory which said that, the longer the time for marination, the better the meat taste. haha..=P
2. I love to marinate food in a sandwich bag because it is easy to mix up everything and store it into the fridge.
3. You can use any types of onion. I guess it doesn't matter?
4. You can also use any type of white vinegar. For me, I am using the sushi rice vinegar that I usually use for my sushi.
5. You can deeply fried it to make it taste better.

I hope you enjoy my recipe!
Happy Cooking!

For example, Milo! Indomie!山楂饼! Ping pong brand biscuit!鲳鱼!...-.-.. =D
You will also can get a bit hyper with those uncommon things/ unfavourite/ soso items  that you used to have when you are at home
For me, they are like Nescafe Coffee, AikCheong Coffee..and 黑木耳 (Black Wood Ear)
Without thinking too much I bought the Black Wood Ear from the Chinese Market..
I am not always a fans to this food..

Indeed after doing some research on it, I found out that it is actually good especially women because it helps to improve your skins condition, helps in blood circulation, helps in prevention iron deficiency anemia. However, this is not too suitable for pregnant women. =)
